I think thats the way he would have wanted to end his years on the show with a funny and tearful ending

Phil Hartman was..well..more than perfection. He is GOD to me,billion miles above average religious person's God.Every second of his entire life was like the most beautiful painting of Renaissance painter Raphael. There will never be anyone like him.I still can't believe that comedy giant went away so soon.World is a bad place, but in 1948-1998 world was stunningly beautiful when Phil Hartman lived.

I cannot believe that it has been 10 years since this happened :(

It's sooooo very sad to watch them break down like that...:*(

I watch this and I still break down

lol the cultprit of john f k

I teared up the very FIRST time I watched (1998), but NOW, I actually CRY when I see it, especially since it's already been an unbelieveable 10 years since Phil's passing. :*(

When you work with someone for a couple of years, you grow to love them, and Phil was obviously a loveable guy. It's so sad to see them break down like that, and it's so genuine to watch the actors be their REAL selves.

I remember watching this and just breaking down in tears because you can see how much he meant to the rest of them. I always thought he was the best on the show and one of the funniest guys I'd ever seen and I miss him like crazy.

I did not expect to cry at this, but at the end, when Dave starts crying, and you can see the rest of the cast break down a bit .... hard to watch. R.I.P Phil Hartman.

It is quite painful to watch, yes, but the cast did a good job, and it's like we can still hear his voice as all the characters are reading the letters "he" wrote. Very touching (but funny too).

It's very hard to watch. Phil Hartman was so funny.

Yup, and I've been missing him for a long time too. He was a truly great actor also.

Great actor he will be missed.

First you said he was stupid and unfunny and now you're saying that he WAS funny??? Make up your fucking mind you idiot! Oh, I thought you were in love with that cunt? You two belong together as far as I'm concerned you stupid prick.

Phil's dead and I don't care. He was funny but his 'art' don't make him a good person. He made a bad choice with the wife and he paid for it. Why should I care?

and how do you know anyway lmao did you know him??? ooo wait your one of those that believes everything that comes out of the asses of all the celeb reporters who tell so many lies the majority of the time to to make a fast buck i get it now

well for starters i imagine his friends did his family his millions of fans even if they werent fortunate enough to get the pleasure of knowing him personally...hmmm i dont know take your pick

I wish you would die, you are so fucking pathetic and useless and stupid, Phil wasn't.

You're FUCKING stupid so go fuck yourself, prick!

you are right it ws stupid

Phil's dead who gives a dman what Phil wanted....

They were being funny and respectful at the same time, they were trying so hard not to cry, but they were trying to be funny as well, something Phil would've have wanted.

I dunno, I didn't find this moving at all :/

RIP Phil!
